“And then he told them, “Go into all the world and preach the Good News to everyone.””
Jesus gives the command in his Word to “Go into all the world and preach the gospel.” That starts in your home, work, school, neighborhood as you share your faith with the people closest to you. You also have the great opportunity to share Christ in areas outside your zip code and even country code through CDA missions.
Whether it's at home or abroad, the best way to share your faith is finding common ground and earning the right to be heard. Your life is a display of the trustworthiness of Jesus.
So, how do you go about your mission? Thankfully, Paul gives you a winning strategy: You see, we don’t go around preaching about ourselves. We preach that Jesus Christ is Lord, and we ourselves are your servants for Jesus’ sake. For God, who said, “Let there be light in the darkness,” has made this light shine in our hearts so we could know the glory of God that is seen in the face of Jesus Christ. (2 Corinthians 4:5-6 NLT)
As you seek the face of Christ, may your light shine brightly into the lives of the people your encounter daily who need His Good News.
PRAYER
Heavenly Father, I want to shine your light brighter, stronger, and better. Help me be a better witness, drawing others to you. I pray that in Your strength I will carry out my life mission to Your praise and glory. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.
